The working process of the poultry feed production line
The poultry feed manufacturing plant mainly includes raw material receiving and cleaning, crushing, batching and mixing, pelletizing, cooling, screening, and finished product packaging systems. Crushing Process
The raw materials are fed into the feed grinder machine and crushed into powdery raw materials, and then distributed to each batching bin through the conveyor. The main equipment is the feed grinder machine. The purpose of crushing is to improve the utilization rate of animal feed, increase the contact area of digestive enzymes to raw materials, and reduce chewing energy consumption during animal feeding. The crushed raw materials are easy to mature in the granulating and tempering stage, and can greatly reduce the power consumption, which can improve the working efficiency of the subsequent process.
Mixing process
Evenly mix the raw materials weighed by the batching scale. Its core equipment is the feed mixer machine. The mixing shall be well controlled, and the uniformity shall gradually reach the appropriate uniformity with the increase of mixing time. However, if the mixing time is extended, the raw materials will be stratified. Avoid excessive mixing, and release the product before the proper mixing time is reached, so as to complete mixing during transportation.
Pelletizing process
The mixed powdered feed is processed into pellet feed. Feed granulation is easy to digest. Granulation can also improve the density of granular materials. The feed density is higher through the extrusion of the feed pellet machine, thus improving the storage capacity of the silo. It can also kill toxins in raw materials through high temperatures so that the feed pellets are safer for animals.
Cooling and screening process
In the process of granulation, due to high-temperature and humid steam and the extrusion of materials, a large amount of heat is generated, which makes the moisture content of the feed pellets reach 16%-18% when it just comes out of the feed pellet machine, and the temperature reaches 75-85℃. Under this condition, the feed pellets are easy to be deformed and break, and will also produce adhesion and mildew during storage. The moisture content must be reduced to about 13-15%, and the temperature must be reduced to about room temperature, which requires cooling.
After the powders are pelletized, some unqualified materials such as powder clots will be produced. Therefore, the feed pellets need to be screened into products with neat particles and uniform size.
The finished product packaging process
This is the process of weighing, bagging, and sealing the finished feed pellets with automatic packaging equipment. Generally, the finished products are delivered in two forms: bulk and bagged. Due to the limitations of transportation equipment, bagged products are mostly used. The automatic packaging system can weigh different specifications of feed according to customer needs.
